It. That covers so many things. So many things on my plate and I’m thinking about putting more on it? Yeah, I know. It keeps me out of trouble if I’m busy doing stuff. Here’s a run-down on what I’m currently working on or thinking about:
I’m heading up to my buddy Thorn’s birthday bash/house warming on Friday. He’s the editor of Instigator Magazine. So what exactly do you give a pig who has everything?
The Kinsey Institute is now accepting art for a juried art show. The call has been out now for a couple of weeks and the deadline is February 5, 2007. It’s in the imagination/re-call stage so I’m coming up with something that fits. If accepted, it’s another wonderful excuse to be in New York City.
The Seattle Erotic Art Festival has a call out again for next year’s show! It seems that ConWorks has closed and shown it’s last show and SEAF will be shown at a new place called Fenix. Sounds cool to me! I’ve participated the last 3 years, so why break with tradition right?
There’s a rumor that I may be sharing a table with some very good pals I made in New York at Mid-Atlantic Leather. Details are slim, but I could very well show up there! I never really thought I’d ever go to an event like this as I feel kind of outside of all of that looking in, but several influential people have made mention that I should give it a try. We will see. At the very least, I’m hoping to hear back soon if I can put some cards in the NYC Leatherman.
I’m putting the finishing touches on my 8 pages of filth for the guys who do Hard To Swallow Comics #3. I’m really happy with the story – it’s twisted, it’s funny, it’s dirty. Well, it’s me in a nutshell.
I’m working on some cool sketches for some SQREAM scooter patches and t-shirt designs. I just finished the sketch for the girls and it’s wicked cute and now I’ll start on the other two. I also noticed they have a San Diego chapter… huh? When did that happen? Wicked!
Today, I got out all the winner’s cards and artwork. Let me know when you get them, guys. Ok?
I also sold a nice guy and fellow scooterist this piece. He’s also going to put it on a scooter jacket patch! Cool, huh? I will get that boxed up and sent off tomorrow afternoon.
Next I’m sketching out some fun stuff for some of the guys at SQREAM and working more on my 8 page comic for Hard To Swallow and a couple of fun commissions.
In September, I’m flying out for the next Buzzcock Party on September 22nd. See you dirty fuckers there!
So the results have been tallied and you voted. I don’t know if I’ve ever jacked off this much to the written word, but that’s what I like about this stuff.

Tomorrow, I send off two pieces to an Austalian bloke who likes rubber and watersports and that completes my first two runs of any print I have had available! They are sold out and discontinued. Not to worry, there are plenty others to choose from. In addition, I’m busy with some commissioned work, an 8 page story for Hard To Swallow Comix, and some sketches for SQREAM as they want some hot patches and t-shirt designs. These are great distractions to have.
Tomorrow night, I announce the winner of the 1000 Words Contest. If you want to get a vote in, do it now, as you’ll be entered to win a 5 pack of cards with the image in play on them. I told you, I’m a giver. But this will be after I go out and eat at my favorite restaurant – Region.
Then, I start planning my week in New York City for the Buzzcock Party. On September 22nd I’ll be signing posters, selling work, shaking hands and if I like what the DJ is playing – most likely shaking my rump! I hope to see some of you there.
Well, you pounded my box with them, I sorted out the bad ones and kept the good ones, I’ve chosen my favorites, and now it’s up to you to vote for your favorite story. There are 13 in total, with the winner getting his very own 13″ x 19″ signed print of the work, with two runners up getting their very own pervy 5 card box set.Here’s where you come in.
